Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Marie Bedwell, age 86, are scheduled for 2 Pm, Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Palestine Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bedwell passed away late Thursday in Lexington. She was born September 1, 1934 in Henderson County to the late Ernest and Lessie Daws Waddle. She was retired from Caywood School Cafeteria and worked as a door greeter at Walmart. She was hardworking and a loving mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Frank Bedwell; her sister, Pauline Lance; brother, Elvin Waddle; and her half-brother, Don Waddle. Survivors include her daughter, Vickie French (Rickey); three sons, Tony M. Bedwell (Carol), Mark Bedwell (Sharon) and Tom Bedwell (Shannon); nine grandchildren, Jack Bedwell, John Everett Bedwell, Tracy French, Candi French, Haley Nelson, Clint Bedwell, Holden Bedwell, Anthony Bedwell, and Katie Thorne; and four great grandchildren.
