Rebecca Jane Rakes, age 53 of Boaz, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2026 at the Legacy Nursing and Rehab Center in Pleasant Grove. She was born on March 27, 1972 in England. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Rakes and Kareen Davis Rakes.
Rebecca is survived by her children, Kaitlyn Smith, Nadia Smith Chandler, Joshua Ashby and Madison Morris; grandchildren, Drake Williamson, Kinlee Williamson, Emy Williamson and Emmitt Ashby.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the Decatur Brown Service Funeral Home.
