Rebecca Ann Brooks, age 79 of Madison, TN passed away Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Springfield. The family will receive friends 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, September 16th and 12pm to 2pm on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
She was born in Springfield, TN on December 28, 1941 to the late Ranel Elvis ad Daisy Blonde Moon Farmer. She was also preceded in death by grandchildren, Renee Sanders, Chris Meadows and sister, Sarah Elaine Farmer Knight.
She was a 1959 graduate of Springfield High School and worked in Employment Security for the State of Tennessee. She loved her family very much and enjoyed card games, traveling and her friends.
She is survived by children, Jeff (Becky) Goostree of Nashville, Ginger (Kenny) Lewis of Christiana, TN; brothers, Jerry (Diana) Farmer of Mt. Juliet, Mike Farmer of Springfield; grandchildren, John Sanders, Steven (Leslie) Sanders, Jessica (Tommy) Padgett, Courtney (Chris) Martin; great-grandchildren, Brennon Cox, Tyson Lucas, Carter Meadows, Weston Sanders, Brookelyn Lewis, Nola Martin, Tammy Padgett and Brantley Padgett.
