Reba Wiginton Shotts, age 96, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Hamilton, Alabama on September 24, 1929, to her parents, Alvin Wiginton and Lily Mae Ridings Wiginton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Michael Shotts (wife, Deanna);
daughter, Deborah Nichols (husband, Bruce); grandchildren, Rebekah Wiginton (husband, Brian), Ben Shotts, Ashley Jacobs (husband, Chris), Dallas Nichols;
great-grandchildren, Meg Wiginton, Jane Wiginton, Anne Wiginton, Harley Jacobs
A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Rex Shotts; parents, Alvin and Lily Mae Wiginton; siblings, Max, Maurice and Robbie.
A visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 p.m. p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jeff Armbrester officiating. The interment at Hamilton Memory Gardens.
