Reba Swinford A visitation for Mrs. Reba Vest Swinford will be Monday, April 29, 2024 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Her funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. Interment will be at Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Geoff Halbrooks and Bro. Frankie Keene will be officiating. Peck Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Reba Vest Swinford passed away Friday morning, April 26, 2024 at her residence in Hartselle with her family by her side. She was 80 years old. Reba was born to William Byrd and Mamie Pannell Vest on February 23, 1944 in Morgan county, Alabama. She worked as a Head Start Teacher in Hartselle prior to retirement. She wore many hats but will be most remembered as being a loving wife, mother MiMi and Great MiMi. She loved to quilt and sew, especially enjoying her quilting guild. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Red Cross and spent many years doing do.

Reba is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving and adoring husband of 60 years, Cledith; her daughter, Valerie Clark (Kevin) of Madison, AL; sister, Katie Hill of Alabaster; grandchildren, Conner Clark (fiancée Keri), Carson Clark (Allison), and Caleb Clark; and one great granddaughter, Georgia Grace Clark.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Clark, W. Conner Clark, Carson Clark, William (Billy) Betterton, Jeremy Bradford and Don Henderson

The family request in lieu of flowers please consider making a memorial donation in Reba’s name to the American Red Cross or St. Jude’s Hospital.
