Reba Thorne Franks, 98, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, May 16, 2014, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. Mrs. Franks was the oldest member of the former Hebron Methodist Church (currently known as New Beginnings Fellowship). She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 19, graveside at Snowdown Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Rodney Windham. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Edwina Parsons and Anita Yow, both of Iuka; one brother, Luther Thorne of Farmington, MI; one sister, Polly Booker of Iuka; two grandchildren, Tracy Yow Morris and Debra Wilson, both of Iuka; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Franks; her granddaughter, Diane Boothe; and her parents, Charlie and Bessie Daniel Thorne.
