Mrs. Reba Lay Bonds, age 68 of Sunlight, went to her eternal home on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at UAB Hospital. Reba was born on October 18, 1953.
She was preceded in death by her Husband-Glen Bonds; Parents-George and Dorthy Lay; Brothers-Mac Lan and Leonard Lay.
She is survived by her Daughter-Glenda Freeman (Freddy); Grandsons-Chris and Corey Freeman; Brothers-Kenneth Lay (Bertha), Richard Lay (Donna), Paul Lay (Missy) and Andy Kilgore (Joyce); Sister-in-law-Donna Lay; a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. The Rev. J.D. Dickerson will officiate. Burial will be at Sunlight Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Lay, Terry Knott, Matt Norris, David Norris, Bruce Tidwell and Randy Tidwell.
