With heavy and grateful hearts, we celebrate the life of Reba Joyce Nicdao, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, veteran and friend whose kindness and joyful spirit touched so many lives.

While we grieve her absence, we find peace in knowing that Joyce has been

reunited with her beloved parents, Reba Faye Craft and William Ussery Craft and her cherished daughter, Reba Crizencia Nicdao. All together again, surrounded by God’s eternal love.

She leaves behind her husband, Placido Valdez Nicdao Jr. and was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Placido Ussery Nicdao II. Joyce is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Jacqueline Faye Milton and Guwana Gayle Franks (Ricky); her brothers, William Douglas Craft (Sheryl) and Ussery Dale Craft (Cynthia), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who knew her lovingly as Aunt Joyce.

She proudly served seven years in the United States Navy, carrying a spirit of strength, dedication and service throughout her life. Joyce went on to retire as an Inspector with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), a career she carried out with dedication and pride. Joyce had a special love for animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed reading, fantasy, science fiction and technology. Her caring heart, joyful spirit and infectious laugh made everyone feel welcomed, loved and valued.

While we will miss her deeply, we are thankful for the love she shared, the memories she created and the legacy of compassion she leaves behind. May we honor her by living with the same warmth, generosity and joy that she so freely gave to others.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
