Mrs. Readave Patterson, age 78, of Boaz, passed away Friday morning at Shepherds Cove Hospice.
Her funeral service will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Wayne White and Bro. Wayne Roden will officiate. Music will be provided by Kim Childress and Glenn Smith. Casket bearers will be Scott Freeman, Todd Brock, Jonathan Clanton, Jason Haynie, Chase Gorham and Ty Boston. Honorary casket bearers will be Ken Haynie and David Young.
Visitation will be from 12 until 2 on Sunday, before the service.
She is survived by her daughters, Shonna Young (Billy) and Jonita Scott (Jeff), grandchildren, Latashia Ray (Chris), Amber Young (Ben), Jerika Brannon (Bo) and Jacie Powers (Adam), five great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, and sister, Panithia Clanton (Marston).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ray Patterson, parents, Narvol and Opal Potter, sisters, Quintella Haynie, Demervol Freeman and Yvonne Potter.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Evan M. Johnson, caregivers; Renea Garrett, Lois Nixon and Kim Oliver, Alacare Home Health and Shepherds Cove Hospice.
