RC&D Council is hosting their fourth annual Lamb Jam

THE SHOALS-The Northwest Alabama Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council is hosting their fourth annual Lamb Jam! event on Thursday, July 20, 2017. It is a WC Handy event catered by a local chef using local ingredients to promote local food, especially lamb.

This year’s event will be catered by Chef Alan Phillips of The Red Clay Epicurean. Lamb and beef gyros are on the menu. You can enjoy music while you eat and even get up and dance to local band The Midnighters. Come to Sweetwater Depot in Florence, Alabama, from 6-9 PM to kick off Handy week right.

Buy your tickets before the event. Adult tickets are $15.00; child tickets (5-11) are $6.00; children 0-4 get in free. You can purchase tickets at our office (909 George Wallace Blvd., Ste. C, Tuscumbia, AL 35674), at Jack O’Lantern Farm – Florence Location (123 E Mobile St, Florence, AL 35630), or at the Colbert County Board of Education (425 U.S. 72 Alternate, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). RC&D Staff may also deliver tickets if groups are purchasing multiple tickets, etc. If you wait and purchase a ticket at the door, they will be $20.00.
