Obituary of Raymond Thomas PierceRaymond Thomas Pierce, 77, of Pulaski, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Surrounded by his devoted wife, daughter, and son, he passed away in his recliner just as he had wished.

Raymond was born in Pulaski, TN, on September 23, 1948, to William Thomas and Wilma Newton Pierce. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he later spent 35 years at American Magotteaux prior to his retirement. He was an active member of the Fairview Church of Christ and was blessed with two children and six beloved grandchildren. Throughout his life, Raymond also served as a father figure and encouraging mentor to many others.

An outdoor enthusiast, Raymond was an avid fisherman, a skilled whitetail hunter, and a passionate gardener. Indoors, he found joy in reading, woodworking, and cherishing time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Wilma Pierce, and his infant daughter, Jennifer Dawn Pierce.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Brenda Pierce of Pulaski; son Nick Pierce and wife Robyn of Richmond, IN; daughter Angela Zuill of College Grove; grandchildren Ella Pierce, Cohen Pierce, Evy Pierce, Lorna Pierce all of Richmond, IN; Henry Zuill, Charlie Zuill both of College Grove; brother Randy Pierce and wife Lynn of Pulaski; sister Alice Foster of Pulaski; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Monday, September 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with interment following at Giles Memory Gardens.
