Raymond R. Edwards, age 71, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was born in Alabama on January 17, 1954, to his parents, Raymond Rayford Edwards and Helen Ganelle Vanderford Edwards.
He leaves to cherish his memories his, children, Eric Edwards, Steffany Cochran, Paige Cochran, Kayley (Isaiah) Carruth; siblings, Linda Dempsey, William Edwards (Kimberly Page), Gwendalyn Edwards; grandchildren, Kalen, Kashton, Bryliee, Kiersten; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Louise Edward; grandparents; parents; sister, Helen Dean Edwards; brothers, Dennis Clyde Edwards, James Chrisopher Edwards; Nieces, Carla Woods. Tiffany Cochran; aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, January16, 2026 at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Marion County Funeral Home and interment at Antioch Cemetery.
