Raymond Levi Vaughn, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020. He was a native of Ardmore, OK, retired from H. A. Threet Farms, and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Vaughn served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lorene Phipps Vaughn; one granddaughter, April Smith; and one daughter, Wanda Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Vaughn of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Sharon Few (Charlie) of Murfreesboro, TN; one son, Keith Vaughn (Jennifer) of Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Sutherland of OK; four brothers, Lewis Vaughn of OK, Dan Vaughn of OK, Frankie Vaughn of OK, and Ricky Vaughn of TX.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, March 23, 2020 with Bill Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Ethridge Masonic Cemetery in Ethridge, TN with full military honors.
