Raymond “Jerry” Myers, 73, of Moody, Alabama passed away on October 18, 2023.
Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed doing many things outdoors. He enjoyed working with wood and making furniture with his wife, Carole. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. Jerry loved laughing and getting to talk and cut up with his friends and family. But most of all, Jerry was a good, kind man; he would give the shirt off of his back to anyone that needed, and loved his family more than imaginable.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mary Lee Myers; five sisters, Gail, Jewel, Joann, Mary, and Debra.
Left to cherish Jerry’s memory include his wife of over 30 years, Carole Myers, children, Stephanie (James) Earnest, Christy Odom, Chris (Carla) Vines, Courtney Jay, Sara (Jeremy) Beasley, Britney (Blane) Jett, Chase (Kaylee) Myers, Damian (Jessie) Myers, and Izzabella (JD McCullough) Myers; grandchildren, Natalie Myers, Dalton Vines, Hunter Vines, Ryan Vines, Addison Vines, Elijah Blankenship, Luke Blankenship, Carter Myers, Kole Beasley, Tatum Myers, Josephine Jett, Ellie Grace Beasley, Emmeline Jett, and Baby Boy McCullough, brother, Donny (Brenda) Myers; sister, Pat Davis; and his favorite German Shephard, Harley.
Funeral Services will be held, Friday October 20, 2023 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service beginning. Burial will follow at New Horizon Memorial Gardens, Dora, Alabama.
