Raymond James Johnson, 75, Russellville, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at his residence.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. James Hood. Burial will be at Spruce Pine Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Ellen Johnson; children, James Raymond Johnson (wife, Olivia), George Daniel Johnson, Ellie Mae Allen (husband, Kevin); grandchildren, Trista Wolfe (husband, Nathan), Gregory Johnson, Sarah Woods (husband, Brandon), Sabrina Johnson (Cory Aday), Boo Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Angie Johnson, Hunter Allen; great-grandchildren, Austin Johnson, Tanner Aday, Kelby Aday, Danielle Wolfe, Boston Woods, Jayden Aday, Kylee Aday; sister, Betty Daniels; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janie Lee Johnson, son, Michael Howard Johnson, parents, Charnel & Pearl Johnson; 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
The pallbearers will be James Johnson, George Johnson, Brandon Woods, Boo Johnson, Hunter Allen, Gregory Johnson, & Cory Aday. The honorary pallbearer will be Gary Johnson.
