Graveside service for Raymond Alvin Patterson, age 86, of Dade City, FL (formerly of Alabama), will be Monday, June 16, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at Grange Hall Cemetery, Trinity, AL, with Shelton Funeral Home officiating. Hodges Family Funeral Home assisted the family in Dade City, FL.
Mr. Patterson, who was born April 28, 1928, in Huntsville, AL, to George Patterson and Pearlie Mae Hargroves Patterson, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care at Bayfront Health in Dade City, FL. He was a welder, and served in the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by three sons, James Alvin Patterson (Cindy), Alan Patterson, and Bobby Patterson; two daughters, Trisha Simonds (Ernie), and Tina Cash; one brother, Gene Tuck; one sister, Betty Hopper; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
