Funeral services for Mrs. Raymell Singleton Powers, age 85, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, August 16, 2013 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Don Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Powers passed away early Wednesday in Jackson. She was born November 17, 1927 in Henderson County to the late Robert and Maggie Singleton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and life itself. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Iley Powers, one son, Larry Powers, and two sisters, Velma Buck and Thelma Fullington. Survivors include her son, Barry (Annita) Powers, her daughter-in-law, Joan Powers, six grandchildren, Jeremy Powers, Jennifer Powers, Sonny Corey, Heather Frost, and Michael and Keith Arnold, and seven great grandchildren, Dylan and Daniel Powers, Zoey Corey, Olivia Frost, Daniel, Jamie, and Charlie Arnold.
