Rayford Heath, Sr., Age 75, of Sylacauga, AL, passed away on February 28, 2025, peacefully at his home with his precious wife of 46 years by his side. He was a devoted husband, daddy and PawPaw.
Rayford and his wife, Regina Rollins Heath met in 1977 and were inseparable until God called him home. He is proceeded in death by his father, Oscar Heath, and his mother Eunice J. Heath. He is survived by his wife, Regina Heath, his daughters, Kathi Heath and Melissa Heath McGrady, and his son, Rayford Heath Jr. (Maggie), his handsome grandsons, Avery (Kavita) McGrady, Landon Lee, Ethan Heath, Braxton Parobek, Bryson Parobek and Bentley Wood and his gorgeous granddaughters Alise (Ian) Ford, Elizabeth Heath, Abbie Patterson, Shelbie Lee, Kaitlyn Patterson and Emmalea Heath, and a host of nieces and nephews.
You could always find Rayford wearing his black and white houndstooth fedora hat, talking on his C.B. and Ham radios and fostering many animals.
The family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family thanks you for donating to Cremation Services of East Alabama in honor of Rayford.
