It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Melinda Higginbotham Johnston, who passed away after battling sickness on Thursday February 27, 2025, at the age of 74. She chose to be cremated and is survived by her children: Daughters, Candye Hicks, April Autrey and Brandy Bishop; Sons, Stacy Waldrep and Bubba Phillips; and 7 grandchildren; and sister, Lenora Castleberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Jeanette Higginbotham; brothers, Lonnie G. Higginbotham, Howard L. Higginbotham and Roger L. Higginbotham; and sister, Mary Frances Henson.
