Rayburn Stover – Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Rayburn Stover will be Noon Friday, December 26, 2014 at Calvary Tabernacle in Moulton, Alabama with Bishop Gary Taylor officiating and inhumation to follow in Lindsey Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Wednesday from 10-4 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Rayburn also know as “Meat Head” was born April 22, 1983 in Lawrence County, Alabama to Carolyn Stover and Rayburn Bud Owens. He departed this life on December 19, 2014 at his residence in Decatur, Alabama.

He confessed hope in Christ and united with Calvary Tabernacle in Moulton, Alabama. He was educated in the Lawrence County School System and was disabled.

He was preceded by his grandparents, Orene Owens and Floyd Stover and great-grandmother, Mary Lucy Stover.

Those left to cherish his memory: Fiancée, Christie Roberts of Decatur; four daughters, Jayden Stover, Audreana Thomas, Kallie Stover and Aliyah Stover all of Decatur; three sons, Shemar Echols of Hillsboro, Triston Stover and Drakstin Stover both of Decatur; mother, Carolyn Sue (Harold) Cooper of Decatur; father, Rayburn Bud Owens of Moulton; eight sisters, Courtney (Eddie) Mitchell, Cierra Owens, Dekria Owens all of Decatur, Christy Williams of Huntsville, Linda (Maricus) Hankins of Muscle Shoals, Victoria McDaniel and Moesha McDaniel both of Moulton and Tamira Chatman of Valhermoso Sprints; five brothers, Isaac Stover, Armadeus Polk, Sha’king Stover all of Decatur, Rashad Echols and Montel McDaniel both of Moulton; grandmother, Florida S. Stover of Decatur; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers and Flower Bearers will be cousins and friends.
