Rayburn Clayton Hill, 74, of Brunswick, GA, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick Campus.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 1:00pm, at Waynesville Church of God with Brother Larry Giles and Brother Jimmie Walden officiating. Joshua Johnson, Terry Johnson, Calvin Driver, Dennis Rauch, III, Barry Leffew, and Vance Johnson will be serving as active pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00am until service time, at the church.

Rayburn was born May 14, 1951, in Owens Cross Roads, AL, to Joseph and Catherine Clayton Hill. He had lived in Brunswick for the past 14 years and was a faithful and dedicated member of Waynesville Church of God. He was retired as maintenance supervisor from A.G. Spanos and was a self-employed carpenter. He loved spending time with his kids and grandbabies. He was a veteran of the Unites States Army serving during Vietnam.

Survivors include his children, William ‘Vance’ Johnson (Kathrine) of Arabi, GA, Terry Lewis Johnson (Amber) of Brunswick, sisters, Brenda Holland (Butch) of Owens Cross Roads, AL, Barbara Taymon of New Hope, AL, Ross Hill (Melissa) of Owens Cross Roads, AL, Sandra Savoie of Killeen, TX, Martha DeArmond (Jeff) of Owens Creek Roads, AL, and Lisa Leffew (Barry) of Georgetown, TX, grandchildren, Joseph Miklja, Joshua Johnson, Cassandra Driver, Chelsea Brown, Joy Johnson, and Jasmine Hill, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and special sons; Robert, Bruce, and Jamie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Hill, his son, Rayburn Joseph, daughter, Olivia Hill, parents, Joseph Hill, Lois Hill, and his brothers, Larry Hill and Leland Hill.
