Ray Tull – Obituary

Ray Tull, 85, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Chester County, TN on April 13, 1932 to the late Fred and Bertha Ray Tull and graduated from Bethel Springs High School in 1950. Ray was a Veteran having served in the US Army and was a longtime member of Tate Baptist Church. He was co-owner of Tull Brothers Inc since 1962. Ray will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 pm Tuesday, February 6, 2018 and from 12 pm till service time Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Dennis Smith. Interment will follow in Henry Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brent Tull, Clark Pounds, Ryan Brunner, Allen Lott, Fred Tull, Michael Tull, Sammy F. Tull Jr., and Tucker Brunner. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Ray’s memory include his wife of 65 years: Joyce Pollard Tull of Corinth, MS; his sons: Greg L. Tull and wife Vickie of Corinth, MS and Tim L. Tull and wife Delores of Fulton, MS; five grandchildren: Camille Tull, Leigh Tull (Ryan), Brent Tull (Megan), Jessica Pounds (Clark), Timothy Tull Jr., (Kayla); 3 step-grandchildren: Wayne Pruitt (Crystal), Charles Pruitt (Rebecca), and Monica Lorick (Matt); 2 great-grandchildren: Tucker Brunner and Kamden Tull; 7 step great- grandchildren; his brother: Sam F. Tull Sr. and wife Barbara of Corinth, MS; several nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son: Steven R. Tull; his stepmother: Nell Lott Tull; his stepbrother: Jimmy Lott; and by his great-granddaughter: Paisley Tull. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a church or charity of choice.
