Ray Thomas McCord Profile Photo Ray Thomas McCord, a beloved son, father, grandfather, friend and so much more was born on March 21, 1954. Tommy was a proud resident of Lewisburg, TN, where he passed away on March 25, 2024. Tommy’s love for God, family, and the great outdoors defined his essence. He found solace in fishing, cherished time with his grandchildren, and in his later years, took joy in observing wildlife from his kitchen window, captivated by nature’s beauty.

Tommy dedicated much of his life to the noble profession of truck driving, serving as a dump truck driver for many places. His commitment to his work reflected his strong work ethic and perseverance in all aspects of his life.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Merrill F McCord Sr. and Sarah Walker McCord; his wife, Mildred McCord; his brothers, Merril McCord Jr, Charles McCord, Paul McCord, Wayne McCord, and William McCord; sisters, Helen McCord, Edna McCord, Jean Crooke, Hazel Boyd, and Mildred Webb; and grandson, Dylan McCord. He is survived by his son, Jason McCord; daughters, Michelle Williams and Amanda Stones; grandchildren, Kory Cole, Sapphire Leonard, Darian Leonard, Alyssa Stones, Leighton Stones, and Jaycee McCord and his best friend/cousin Johnny Price.
