Ray was born on July 6, 1969, to Thomas and Blanche Jett. Ray graduated from Culleoka High School in 1988. He worked for Allison-Walker Die Casting for over 30 years.
Ray was bigger than life and was loved by all who know him. He never met a stranger and anyone who met him never forgot him. Ray loved the Tennessee River and their Camp.
Ray was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents: Wilma and Howard Jett; mother: Blanche Jett; and grandson: Bryson Ray Jett.
He is survived by his wife: Laura Hiatt Jett; sons: Dustin (Krista) Jett and Brandon (Amanda) Jett; stepchildren: Samantha Marciniak, Sal Marciniak, and Stevie Ray Ballinger; father: Thomas Jett; brothers: Timmy (Angie) Jett and Troy (Jessica) Jett; sister: Rebecca (Joe) Cardwell of Florida; grandchildren: McKenzie and Riley Jett; and several nieces and nephews and his “River” family.
The family will have a private memorial service at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, Tennessee.
