Ray Lewis Arnold Sr. was born October 9, 1951 to the late Willie Mitchell Arnold Sr., and Nola Beatrice Arnold in Henderson, Tennessee. He was called to glory on Saturday, May 2, 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio.
He accepted Christ early in life and was a faithful and dedicated member of the Church Of Christ He was educated through the Chester County Public School System. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Marines.
He was married to the late Joyce Ann Wilson on Pinson, Tennessee. To this union three children was born, a son and two daughters. He was preceded in death by his son: Ray Lewis Arnold Jr. and two brothers: Willie Mitchell Arnold, Jr., and Joe Curtis Arnold.
He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters: Rachel Arnold (Jermaine) Brown of Hermitage, Tennessee, Augusta Arnold of Pinson, Tennessee, Denise Brasher and Zondra Braybor both of Kalamazoo, Michigan; one son: Gwyn Shields of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters: Maedell Lancaster and Linda Sue Tole both of Henderson, Tennessee; seven brothers: James Arnold, Jerry Arnold, Gary Arnold, Edward (Vickie) Arnold all of Henderson, Tennessee; Bobby (Diane) Arnold, Edwin Arnold and Charles Arnold all of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
