Funeral service for Ray Charles Sledge of Athens, AL will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hopewell M.B. Church (11479 Dogwood Flats Rd, Tanner, AL 35671) with Pastor Larry Lockett, Sr., as Eulogist. Interment and committal will be at Thatch-Mann cemetery. Mr. Sledge will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Public viewing will be at the Peoples Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.
