Ray Austin “Jack” Campbell, age 82, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away at Madison Hospital, Madison, Alabama on March 13, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1938 to John Austin Campbell and Ethel Katie Campbell. He lived most all his life in the Ardmore area. Jack was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church, Ardmore, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Campbell, Ralph Campbell, and Bud Campbell; and sister, Joyce Moyers.
Jack is survived by his wife, Annell Campell; daughters, Suzette (Stanley) Sylvester of Ardmore, AL, Gwen (Tommy Vinson) Armstrong of West Limstone, AL, Karen (Stacey) Hicks of Ardmore, AL; brother, Glenn Campbell of Alabama; sister, Carolyn Loggins of Oplaka, AL; grandchildren, Blake (Jessica) Wales, Jacob (Rachel) Hicks, Katie (Andrew) Midgett, and Noah (Jesse) Hicks; and great-grandchildren, Alyzea, Braylee, Lukas, Madelyn, and one due in July.
The family will receive friends at Ardmore Funeral Home on March 16, 2021, 1:00PM – 3:00PM.
Funeral services will be 3:00PM on March 16, 2021 at Ardmore Funeral Home with burial following in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama with Noah Hicks officiating. Pallbearers are Blake Wales, Jacob Hicks, Greg Moyers, Jeff Wales, Andrew Midgett, Rodney Campbell, and Johnny Campbell.
