Randy Wayne Henson Randy Wayne Henson, 56, of Rogersville, passed away April 12, 2019. He was out on the Coosa River doing what he loved most, bass fishing, when he traded his earthly body for his new and perfect heavenly body. Spending time on the water and telling fish tales with his son, Makenzie, was by far his favorite pastime. Randy was also a profound Alabama fan.

Visitation will be held at Goodsprings Baptist Church, Saturday April 20th from 12-3 with funeral service following. Burial will be in Dean-McNairy Cemetery. Brother Bobby Walton and Brother Daniel Huntley will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Scheribel, Greg Taylor, Ryan Hayse, Gene Johnson, Kevin Belue, Carmen Belue, Daniel Bokash, Lane Belue, Chase Belue and Ty Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Beidari Konfe, Sean Gallegher and Brett Webster.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Henson. He is survived by his bride of 37 years, Paula Henson; son and best fishing partner, Makenzie Henson (Jess Hughey); mother, Louise Henson; sister, Kathy Swearingen; father and mother-in-law, Dearl and Linda Belue; sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Tim) Howard and Debra Bokash; brother-in-law, Greg (Michelle) Belue; nieces, Erica Shook, Bethany Belue, Brianna Henson; nephews, Bradley, Brandon and Tyler Cook, Daniel Bokash, Carmen, Lane and Chase Belue.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rogersville Tiger Bass Fishing Team Matthew McCafferty Scholarship Fund, at the Citizens Bank of Rogersville or Shoals Youth Bass Masters Fund, at any Bank Independent location.
