Mr. Randy Lyle, 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born August 22, 1949, in Morgan County to Boyce Esmond Lyle and June Roberts Lyle.  A graveside service will be Friday, October 4, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with Amy Vaughn, Dickie Gillott and Rod Gillott officiating and Peck Funeral Home assisting the family.

He was employed as a chemical operator for Solutia, prior to his retirement. He loved being retired, Alabama Football, being in nature and fishing. His family was his greatest love. He was a man of faith, loved his country and had a strong work ethic. He enjoyed coaching the baseball and softball teams of his children. He was known as “Poppy” by his grandchildren and was a wonderful caregiver to his mother-in-law: Virginia.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and a brother-in-law: Bill Hughes.

Five Grandchildren:
Riley Terry,
Reagan Martin,
Carson Cook,
Tommy Woo and
Tucker Woo

and his loving dog “Scruffy”
