Randy G. Edge, age 62, resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Vidalia Georgia. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
Randy was born on June 30, 1958 in Vidalia, Georgia and was the son of the late Charlie Edge, Jr. and Blanche Poole Edge. He was a self-employed truck driver which is where his C.B. Handle name became Grizzly. He was an excellent blue grass musician and enjoyed all of his fellow pickers and friends who shared his love for music. He also loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife: Deborah “Deb” Eskridge Edge; daughters: Sally Ann Conley of GA, RandiLyn (Norman) Royal of GA, Brooke (Chad) Shiflet of Lawrenceburg, and Rebecca (Jeremy) Cheatwood of Lawrenceburg; sisters: Rhonda (Keith) Williamson of GA, Robin (Jeremy) Edge of FL; nephew: Brandon (Stephanie) Williamson of GA; niece: Brooke (Heath) Stille of GA twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved basset hound Barney.
