Randle Thomas Shaw – Obituary

RandallRandall Thomas Shaw, age 65, Guin, AL passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Marion Regional Medical Center. Randle was born in Marion County Alabama on Friday, January 2, 1948 to Luther George Shaw and Mary Jean Thompson Shaw, but as a teenager his family moved to Moline, IL. He worked there for a number of years and he met and married his wife Sally of 46 years. They moved back to Alabama in 1984 and he opened his own upholstery business which he had for several years. He worked at Winston Furniture until he became disabled due his emphysema. Randle enjoyed Alabama Football, fishing, bowling, golf, playing Rook and his greatest love other than God and his family for the past several years was playing Dominos at The Club in Brilliant. Visitation will be Friday, January 03, 2014, 6-7:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Bro. Wendell Kimbrell will be officiating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mary Shaw; brother, Daniel Shaw; sister, Glenda Bowling. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Sally Shaw; children, Randle Shaw, Michael Shaw, Kelly (Tyrone) Harris; grandchildren, Allison, KateLyn, Deontae, Michael, Jennifer Shaw, Maurica Reeves; sister, Debrah Dianne Jones; one Uncle Harold (Millie) Thompson; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his family Randle had his extended family who were all the members of The Domino Club in Brilliant, AL Randle was a wonderful son, husband, Grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed. ROLL TIDE!!!
