Randall Wayne Grantham

Mr. Grantham passed from this life on Wednesday evening, May 27, 2020, at Bolivar General Hospital. He was the son of the late Leo Gordon Grantham and Dorothy Mae Jernigan Grantham.

A native and life-long resident of Hardeman County, he attended Hornsby Baptist Church as a youth and had worked over 20 years as head sawer for Howell & Sons Lumber Company. Blessed with a happy disposition, he was a hard worker, dependable and looked forward to what he considered the the highlight of his day – spending time with his grandson.

He leaves his son, Randy Grantham and his fiance’, Angel Thurmond, along with their son, Zayden Noah Granatham, of Selmer; two sisters, Patricia Evans of Hornsby and Brenda Luker (Mike) of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Leo Grantham of Hornsby and Steven Grantham of Murfreesboro; four nieces and nephews, Torrey Ervin, Kenneth Luker (Amber) and Tiffaney Luker, all of Murfreesboro and Tonya Evans of Hornsby; and five great-nieces and nephews, Eli Luker, Rylee Barrett, Savannah Luker, Landon Ervin and Kensley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Sue Grantham; and a great-niece, Jordyn Luker.

While visiting or attending services for Mr. Grantham, please consider the following guidelines:

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
