Mr. Randall Douglas Smith, 76, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at North MS Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born December 2, 1939 in Huntingdon, TN to John Douglas Smith and Dorothy Lucille Fuller Smith. Randall worked many years in the furniture manufacturing business as an in house account manager. He enjoyed working and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. During his young years, he was athletic, and enjoyed hunting quail, dove and rabbits.
A celebration service honoring Randall will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening, June 30, 2016 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Danny Washington officiating. A graveside service will follow on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Huntingdon, TN. Survivors include his two sons, Chris Smith of Eldorado, AR and Corey Smith of Tupelo; two daughters, Gina Smith of Eldorado AR and Brandi Smith of Tupelo; one sister, Sarah Carolyn Dyer of Clarksburg, TN; the mother of his children, Donna Smith of Trinity, N.C.; a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John David Smith and Darrell Elwyn Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be his associates at Washington Furniture Manufacturing, Beryl Grubbs, Guy Ray, Jeff Fikes, Gerald Washington, Rick Jones, and Charlie Draper.
