Randal James Lester, age 61 of Franklin, TN passed away March 20, 2019 at his home. Born in Syracuse, NY to the late Vernon Louis & M. Shirley Murdie Lester. Graduate of Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as an Airborne Ranger. Preceded in death by daughter, Skye Whitney; brother, Jack Lester. Survived by wife of 20 years, Amber Ashwood Lester; sons, Scott Hilton, Jeffrey George and Daniel George; daughters, Kimberly Hilton and Sophia George; brother, Robin Lester; sisters, Chris (Aguilar) Lester and Susan Lester; grandchildren, Vaida Skye Ann George and Cameron Hilton; aunt, Patty McFadden. Graveside service will be held 11:00AM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
