Ramona Kaye Carpenter Brown, age 66, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Her graveside service will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia, with Shane Swinney of Launch Point officiating.
Ramona was a native of Tuscumbia and was a retired LPN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Annie James.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Leon Brown; sons, Shane Ray Carpenter and Brandon O’Neal Carpenter and wife, Renae; daughter, Stacey Kay Vandiver; sister, Brenda Cain and husband, Skip; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers are CB Carmack, Mark Banks, Mark Guthrie, Josh Hamm, Matt Green, and Mike Smallwood.
