Ramona “Evelyn” Smith, age 81, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from noon until 2 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence with services at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Jerry Campbell will be officiating. Burial will be at Oakgrove Cemetery (Waterloo). Pallbearers will be nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Porter Smith; and half brother, D.C. Smith.
She is survived by her half sister, Pearl Carr; very special friends and caregivers, Faye Hill, Debra and Gary Blevins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Bethel Berry Church and the family would like to thank them for all they have done as well as Gentiva Home health.
