Ramona Diana Gill, age 48, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her home.
Ramona was born on October 9, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri to John Fielder and Diana Layden Fielder. Ramona was out-spoken, had a gentle heart and had an amazing sense of humor. She deeply enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren Jaelynn and Eli. Ramona had a great love for singing, cooking, and cross stitching. She loved her cats – Sassy and Weezy. Ramona worked as a nurse and especially enjoyed working with Dr. Linda Monroe and the late Dr. Heather Bazzle. Even after she left the nursing field, Ramona continued to take care of everyone. She was a member of Hampshire First Baptist Church.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Eric Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Ramona is survived by her husband Bobby Gill of Mt. Pleasant; daughter Christy Gill (Dustin) Laster of Mt. Pleasant and Nick (Rachel) Gill of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter Jaelynn Gill; grandson Elijah Laster; parents John and Diana Fielder; sister Julie (Doug) Truelove; brother Johnny Fielder; and nieces and nephews Bradley, Jordan, Ricky Lynn, Edward, Christina, Tabitha, Nikki, Sarah, Brandon, Justin, Amanda, John, Linda, Katie, Candace, Trey, Caleb, Lindsey, and Eric; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nick Gill, Jordan Gill, Trey Fielder, Eric Roberts, Caleb Truelove, and Jack Adams.
Honorary pallbearers are Michael Jacobs, Bradley Gill, and Doug Truelove.
