Rainy Diane Murphy departed this life on Monday, March 17, 2014, at the age of 48 years, 3 months, 10 days.
She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 7, 1965, the daughter of Ronnie Vandgriff and Barbara Ann Anderson Butler. On October 5, 2013, she was united in marriage to Larry Junior Murphy, II, who survives. She had worked as a paramedic in Savannah, Tennessee.
Rainy is survived by her husband, Larry Murphy of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Mark Allen Butler and wife Robin of Savannah, Tennessee, Michael Adam Butler of Linden, Tennessee, Bethany Diane Rich of Nashville, Tennessee, and Brandy Dianelle Rich of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Marty Butler, Mason Butler, Miles Butler, and Madison Butler; parents, Barbara Ann Butler of Crump, Tennessee, Ronnie Vandgriff and wife Rose; sisters, Gidget Crotts of Crump, Tennessee and Gina Belynn Durand of Decatur, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Terrie Faith Austin.
