Rada Denise Williams, affectionately known by many as “Radar,” age 63, wife of Malcom Williams, and a resident of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her residence.
Born on March 31, 1961, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Radar was the daughter of the late James Earl Essary and the late Sarah Rada Jeanette Scott Essary. She married Malcom Williams on April 9, 1977, and together they had three children. She worked for Inter-City Products in Lewisburg for ten years before opening her own successful cleaning business, Radar’s Cleaning Service. She found joy in working crossword puzzles and reading Chicken Soup for the Soul books. An excellent personality, everyone who knew her loved her. Above all, she loved her family unconditionally, especially her children and beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Angela Marie Williams of Lewisburg, TN, Shawna Renee (Casey) Ryan of Chapel Hill, TN, brothers, James Earl Essary of Lewisburg, TN, Scott Anthony Essary of Lewisburg, TN, grandchildren, Austin Eugene Williams, Little Jay Williams, Joseph Ryan, Rada “Rabeth” Ryan, Andrew Ryan, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Joe Williams.
The family will hold a celebration of life at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lewisburg, Tennessee at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
