Rachel Scott Gillis, age 81, Haleyville, Alabama passed away October 23, 2018 at her residence. She was a member of Hines Memorial Baptist Church.
Visitation is Friday, October 26, 2018 from 12 noon – 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Keith Box officiating. Burial In Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Mann, husband Ricky; siblings, Franklin Sutherland, Eugene Sutherland, Jeanette Hutcheson, Linda Noss, Clytee Baccus and Bertha Lee Kivett; grandchildren, Ashley Vickery (Brian), Tim Mann (Andrea); great grandchildren, Katlyn, Mariella, Lexi Rae, Isabelle, Lily, Jackson and Asher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Murphy and Willie Pearl Sutherland; husbands, Richard Gillis and Kelly Scott; siblings, Lopheia Delphous, Earnestine Flick, Margie Peters, Imogene Sutherland, Annie Lee Rutherford and Clarence Sutherland.
