Mrs. Culpepper was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was an outstanding cook and was not afraid to take on anything that needed doing. Mrs. Culpepper could be frankly honest or tender and caring, depending on what was needed at the moment. She loved babies and young children, antiques, painting, and bird watching. She had her own sense of style and always had it together.
Mrs. Culpepper was a member of First Baptist Church, and various other clubs and groups. She was also a member of the Cullman County Library Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Horace “RH” Culpepper, parents, Rotha Jackson Brock and Essie Bailey Brock; and brothers, Winfred “Wad” Brock, Rotha “Bus” Brock, Roland “Poag” Brock, and Leland “Dink” Brock.
She is survived by her five children, Karen Culpepper Foltz, Joe Culpepper, Kenny (Diane) Culpepper, Neal (Ann) Culpepper, and Tim (Tricia) Culpepper; sister, Hazel Brock Richter; and brother, Douglas “Joe” Brock. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the charity of your choice or to the Cullman County Public Library.
