Funeral Services for Ms. Rachel E. Loveless, age 33 of Lineville, will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. John Howell and Rev. Jerry Colquett officiating. Burial will follow at the Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Loveless passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Noland Health Services at RMC in Anniston. Born in Anniston, Mrs. Loveless graduated from Lineville High School, Class of 2007, followed by Southern Union State Community College with her associate’s degree, and lastly graduating from JSU with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She worked at a number of different Hospitals and healthcare facilities as a RN, including RMC, Stringfellow, Clay County Hospital, Grandview Medical Center, Lineville Health and Rehab, and UAB Hospital. Outside of work, she enjoyed reading, especially history novels and Titanic and Gone with the Wind, going to the beach, and shopping and spending time with her sissy. Rachel also loved Alabama Football, Nascar, Sudoku Puzzles. She was a member of Lineville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Pam Loveless; her sister, Emily B. Loveless; her maternal grandmother, Sue Hudson; her Paternal Grandparents: Doris and Mae Loveless, all of Lineville; her Aunts and Uncles: Angela Haynes (Bert) of Lineville, Elaine Miller (Gene) of Delta, Dale Loveless of Lineville, Danny Loveless of Five Points, Mike Rose (Susan) and Scotty Hudson (Sonya), both of Lineville, and Cindy Deerman of Auburn; plus a host of cousins and a large extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Doyle Loveless; her Paternal Grandfather, Roy Hudson; and her Maternal Great-grandmother, Irma Sparks.

Active Pallbearers will be Jake Lee, Chase Miller, Gene Miller, Bert Haynes, John Ed Waites, Kevin Dobbs, Dale Loveless, and Austin Loveless.

Her visitation will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Flowers are accepted or donations can be made towards the Lineville Baptist Church Food Pantry or the Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery Association.
