Rachel Corder Davis Clem age 89 of Athens, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Clem was born July 13, 1925 in Limestone County, AL to Theo Corder and Lurline Jackson Corder.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 24, 2015 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Mike Davis and Pat Driskell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m., prior to the graveside service.
Preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Lurline Jackson Corder; step-mother, Leora Ezell Corder, brother, Theo Allen Corder and husbands, Paul Wyeth Davis and Greer Clem, Jr.
Survived by her daughter, Suzanne Davis Christopher and husband, Billy Amos Christopher and grandson, Austin Davis Christopher, step-children, Katherine Ann Thomison, William Amos Christopher, Jr., Martha Clem Dishongh, Frank Clem and Kathy Clem Poole.
She retired from the Limestone County Borad of Education . She was a loving wife, Mother and grandmother.
