rachelRachel Clem Ward, 90 of Franklin, Tennessee, formerly a native of Limestone County, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Cool Springs NHC.
Born April 6, 1926 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Andrew William Clem and the late Zana Hodges Clem. She was a member of Boyd’s Chapel Methodist Church. She loved playing Bingo, raising goats, and visiting with great-grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Clyde Ward, a brother: Calvin Clem, and a sister-in-law: Jo Ann Clem.
Surviving are son, Walter Ward of Tecumseh, MI, daughter, Linda W. Ramer of Brentwood, TN, grandchildren: Daniel & Colleen Ramer, Katie & Jason Baxter, Alison & Todd Schult, and Andrew & Becky Ward, and Amanda Ward, 8 great-grandchildren, niece Connie & Ron White of Arizona, and nephew: Rev Dale & Rev. Kelly Clem of Huntsville, AL.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Roselawn Cemetery, Athens, Alabama with Rev. Dale & Rev. Kelly Clem officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
