Rachel Ann Lowery, 45, of Madison, Alabama, passed away on July 7, 2026.
Rachel was born on October 25, 1980, in Rantoul, Illinois. She dedicated her career to education, teaching at Madison Academy, where she was deeply passionate about helping her students discover their own ability to learn and turning that belief into a drive to succeed. Her patience, encouragement, and genuine care left a lasting impact on the many students she taught throughout her career.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Ben Lowery; her daughter, Alia Lowery; and her mother, Reva Woods. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Barrett.
Rachel will be remembered for her warmth, her dedication to her students, and her love for her family.
