Rachel Ann Galloway Bland, 82, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center.
Rachel was married to the late Winfred Bland for 45 years. She was a member of Schoona Chapel Baptist Church. Rachel enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her flowers. She attended Algoma School and worked in a furniture factory until she retired.
Survivors include her children, Karen Burcham and Melissa(Tracy) Huey, grandchildren, Jeremy(Amber) Huey, Nathan(Molly) Huey, and Blake(Megan) Burcham. great-grandchildren, Ainsley and Emily Huey, Jamie Huey, Mckenzie and Marlie Burcham, her sister, Evelyn Bland and sister-in-law, Cora Bland.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Winfred Bland; her parents, Harrison and Lovelle Galloway; a brother, Jimmy Galloway; and a son-in-law, Mark Burcham.
A visitation will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, from 5-8PM and Saturday, June 21, 2025, 10AM until service time of 11AM all at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Jeremy Huey and Bro. Clifton Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Buckhorn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Coker, Randy Coker, Sam Highlander, Chad Pettit, Lynn Bland, and Tripp Baldwin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Coker, Boyce Holloway, and Shea Holloway.
