Funeral service for Rabon Keith Dotson, 48, will be Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Grace Point Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grace Point Baptist Church.
Mr. Dotson passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at UAB Hospital. He was born Wednesday, January 11, 1978, in Morgan County to Rabon Thomas Dotson and Joyce Blaxton Dotson.
Rabon Keith Dotson was born and raised in Somerville AL. He went to Brewer High School where he found his love for music and joined Alabama Choral Explosion. After graduating high school, Keith went to a Recording Workshop in Ohio, where he got a certification in studio audio engineering. After returning back home, Keith followed his love for DJing, car customizing, car audio and visual. He fell in love with Barbering and made it long career, he owned multiple barbershops throughout the years.
Keith went through Liberty College online for a certification Religious Studies. Then Keith became an Independent Ordained Minister through the National Association of Christian Ministers.
Keith was a huge Tennessee Vols Football fan and was known as a loving man to his friends and family, always willing to help even if it was just words of advice.
Keith met his wife, Katrina Dotson, after knowing each other for years, the last 17 years they were always seen together. Everyone knew if the saw Keith, Katrina wasn’t far behind him. They were married for 7 years.
Katrina and Keith’s best friend was in the room when Keith passed peacefully. He will always be loved and will always be in the hearts and minds of anyone that was part of his life in any way. This one is for him— GO VOLS! VOLS FOR LIFE!

Sisters – Cindy Greene (Randy) and
Connie White (Danny),
Three Grandchildren
