Funeral for Raymon Alton McLemore, 80, of Moulton will be today, October 16, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Agee and Rev. Alan Compton officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. McLemore, who died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born May 5, 1935, to Willie Crawford McLemore and Ninnie Lizbeth McLemore. He attended Parkway Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was retired from Prestolite of Decatur after 34 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Raymon Terrill McLemore; his parents; and one brother, Auburn C. McLemore.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruth McLemore; one son, Randy Keith McLemore (Linda); one daughter, Jalena Beth Chaney (Gary); three brothers, Amon McLemore, Hershel McLemore and Fred McLemore; two sisters, Murlene Sparks and Lurlene Fuller; two grandchildren, Jacob Chaney (Laura) and Stephanie Chaney Patterson (Adam); and two great-grandchildren, Addison Chaney and Jodie Chaney.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
