R.L. Dixon, 90, of Mississippi and Florida entered his eternal rest on July 10th, 2025.
He was born on October 15th, 1934 to his parents, Orlander and Lovie Dixon in Rural Pocahontas (now known as Corinth), Mississippi.
His loving family is saddened by his absence but rejoicing because he is with Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Dula Dixon, his son, Daniel Lynn Dixon, and daughter Mary Jean Dixon.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Bobo, Lorraine Mykytka, and Ramona Medlin, as well as his sons, Ricky (Jemima), Jeff (Teresa), Steve (Carrie), John (Jannie), and his brother, Junior Dixon. He is also survived by his twenty grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild. He also has special longtime friends he is survived by, Joe DeAngelo, Joe Moore, Mark Bergeron, and Martha Bracewell.
The visitation will take place at Ocala Cornerstone Church from 4-6 PM. The funeral service will begin at 6 PM. Pastor Aaron Sizemore and Pastor Daniel Kyle will be officiating at Ocala Cornerstone Church.
There will be an interment in Walnut, Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes any donations to be made towards the burial through Mr. John Dixon.
