LAWRENCE COUNTY-Leslie Gillespie the R.A. Hubbard High School Teach who had bee arrested and charged with sexual abuse of a minor on Friday took her life on Saturday, May, 29.
According to the Lawrence County Coroner Scott Norwood it has been confirmed Gillespie died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. According to authorities the shooting happened before 11:30 AM on Saturday. The body has been sent to the Department of Forensics in Huntsville for autopsy.
